WHEN Des Hunt found a small lump in his mouth earlier this year, never in his wildest dreams did he consider it could be cancer.

Last month, the 23-year-old's worst fears were confirmed when he was diagnosed with ameloblastoma, a rare kind of tumour that starts in the jaw near wisdom teeth or molars.
