A DROUGHT reserve, designed to hold funding for community projects, could be established if given the green light at Wednesday's Mildura Council meeting.

The creation of a reserve has been proposed to in a bid to provide a "greater level of flexibility" when responding to the needs and priorities in drought-affected communities.
