PARKS Victoria patrols will keep a close eye on Sunraysia campsites this weekend before fire prevention crews take to the water.

Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) and Parks Victoria officers will increase their presence along the Murray River for the long weekend before the fire boat, Warluyuki, starts patrolling campsites between Merbein Common and Johnson Bend on Monday.
