AGED-care provider Bupa was given a tick of approval for its Mildura nursing home during the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission's most recent audit.

It follows claims that 30 per cent of Bupa's nursing homes in Australia were putting the health and safety of the elderly "at serious risk".
