THE NSW Rural Fire Service is warning people to be more responsible with campfires, following three "senseless" fires in Curlwaa.

This week fire crews have attended three separate fires, two of which were caused by unattended campfires at popular fishing spots.

The third fire was still under investigation.

Superintendent Steve Walker urged people to follow the rules.
