ANGER over the lack of action to decommission infrastructure at Toorale Station, which prevented a flow on the Darling River in May, came to the fore at a meeting in Menindee this week.
Retired Coomealla irrigator Howard Jones, a member of the Murray-Darling Basin Authority community committee, said the general feeling at Thursday's meeting was anger at a lost opportunity, with the river system now in a dire situation.
