HENDERSON Park provided the perfect setting for Mallee Pride's first official event, the Purple Picnic, on Friday.

As part of national Wear it Purple celebrations, the local group banded together to throw an inclusive, rainbow-filled celebration aimed at supporting young LGBTIQ+ people in the region.
