Migrant stories make powerful theatre

THE stories of eight students from the Mildura Senior College English as an Additional Language (EAL) class took an audience on an emotional roller-coaster when drama students brought those stories to life on Monday evening.

The performance, Boundless Plains to Share, invited the audience to witness the journeys taken by asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants in Sunraysia.

Mildura Senior College drama teacher Jade Kemp said drama students worked closely with the EAL students to create the original theatre piece.
