Nationals come to party on hospital funding: New 32-bed ward pledge

THE National Party says Mildura Base Hospital (MBH) will get a new 32-bed ward if the Coalition is elected to State Government in November, with a $20 million election commitment on the table.

Member for Mildura Peter Crisp announced the promise yesterday alongside Opposition spokeswoman for Country Health Emma Kealy and Member for Northern Victoria Luke O’Sullivan.

“A new ward is absolutely essential for Mildura because too many people are experiencing surgery delays, last minute cancellations and bed overcrowding,”  Mr Crisp said.
