THE Federal Government’s recent $4.6 billion funding injection into non-government schools comes as a blow to Sunraysia public schools.
While the new funding does not directly affect the public schools, it has been announced during a time when Australian public schools are facing $1.9 billion worth of cuts.
Wentworth Teachers Association president Bianca Marie Low said she was not surprised by the funding announcement but was left disappointed.
