SUNRAYSIA Bread and Butter Bakery on Deakin Avenue hopes their entry for the Great Australian Vanilla Slice Triumph innovative section - slice with a hint of pistachio and Tim Tam - will be their pièce de résistance.

Owner Dean Picken said his staff came up with ideas before working around the clock to meet the volume of slices needed for the weekend.
