MINE and quarry operators in northwest Victoria will be subject to a series of inspections this month as part of a program aimed at better understanding how risk is being managed.

The Resources Victoria program involves inspecting every mine and quarry across the state with inspections between August 19 and 21 to focus on sites in the Mildura Rural City and Yarriambiack Shire regions.
