CALABRIAN-born Celestina Mammone, who migrated to Australia aged seven and became the first president of the Mildura Club Da Vinci ladies' committee, has died aged 95.

Born in the small picturesque mountain village of Piminoro, Reggio Calabria, Ms Mammone was the third born of Antonina and Natale Mammone who, following a 42-day voyage, arrived at Port Melbourne
