A QANTAS flight headed to Melbourne from Mildura Airport made an emergency landing due to technical issues on July 22.

Flight data shows that soon after take-off at 10:43 am the plane (QF2079) began to circle above Wentworth and Kureinji.

The decision was made to make the emergency landing back in Mildura where the plane touched down at 12 pm to awaiting emergency services responders.
