MILDURA Rural City Council will be forced to cut services unless State and Federal Governments step in and give country councils a "fair go", councillors have been told.

Councillors this week formally adopted the 2025-26 draft budget with an average 3 per cent rate increase for ratepayers -- the maximum amount allowed under the Victorian Government's Fair Go Rates System.
