A MAGISTRATE has warned a man he jailed for eight months on multiple counts of assaults against former or current partners that he poses a "significant risk" to any female who wishes to have a relationship with him.

Magistrate Michael Coghlan said an alert should be sent to females in the community about engaging in a relationship with the man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the victims.
