A MILDURA-based housing insecurity not-for-profit has put its support proposed behind changes to family violence intervention orders, or FVIOs.

A spokesperson for Mallee Accommodation and Support Program said the suggested changes could stop people from being dropped from FVIO protections as they turn 18, and are due in part to advocacy
