A COUNCIL group comprising half-a-dozen municipalities that border the Murray River met with the Victorian representative for local government last week.

Members of the Murray River Group of Councils, which includes Mildura Rural City Council, met with Minister for Local Government, Nick Staikos, at Yarrawonga on June 5, where they discussed key regional priorities and challenges.
