A METH user has been jailed for repeatedly stealing from shops after a magistrate lamented he had run out of other options of punishment.

Thirty-five-year-old Lisa Stone admitted numerous thefts from Mildura's Coles supermarket soon after her release from seven days in custody for the same offending despite a banning notice prohibiting her from entering the store.
