Pet owners warned of toxic treats

RSPCA Victoria has encouraged pet owners to be mindful of keeping toxic treats away from animals during the Easter and Anzac Day holiday periods.

Veterinarian Dr Fiona Pearson said that time is of the essence if a pet does eat a toxic food, which can include chocolate and hot cross buns for cats and dogs.
