AN elderly Buronga couple has escaped injury after a B-Triple truck collided with their home before 6am on Thursday.

The truck was at a service station across the road before it had rolled downhill, across the Sturt Highway, through a fence, and into a home at Hendy Road.

An observer said the B-Triple, which had blocked the highway upon impact, was unoccupied at the time.
