P-plate push for age 17

AN Opposition MP has urged the Victorian Government to lower the state's probationary driving age to 17 to bring it into line with other states and reduce disadvantage for young people in rural areas.

Member for Northern Victoria Gaelle Broad said Victoria was the only state or territory in Australia that still required P-plate drivers to be aged 18.
