THE architects behind Mildura's Powerhouse Place have taken home the state's top architectural award, plus three other honours.

Public Realm Lab was awarded the prestigious Victorian Architecture Medal for its work on the new riverfront precinct at last week's Victorian Architecture Awards in Melbourne.
