A PAIR accused of bashing an elderly man with an iron bar and his own walking stick before stealing items from his Mildura home have fronted Mildura Magistrates' Court.

Irymple woman Tammy Slater, 47, and Noel Giddings, 34, of Koorlong, are alleged to have gone to the 76-year-old’s home last Monday night in a premeditated attack.
