MILDURA Council will need to think big if it is to achieve its goal of increasing the overall urban tree canopy cover to 30 per cent by 2040, an expert warns.

Treenet director Dr Tim Johnson has made a submission on the council’s draft urban forest strategy, calling for a focus on large trees to hit the greening target in Mildura.
