MILDURA superbike star Josh Waters has skipped out to an early lead in this year's Australian Superbike Championship following his round win in Sydney.

The McMartin Racing Ducati rider claimed a win and a second place in the two races under lights at Sydney Motorsport Park at the weekend to claim top points in four of the races races to begin th
