Migrants embrace life-saving training

IMAGINE a city the size of Mildura, but it has no ambulance service.

Then imagine that in that same city, people are dying in the street from blood loss, their bodies torn apart by explosions, and others can't help them because they would then be at risk of suffering the same fate.

This is not an imaginary, hypothetical place. It's where Zia Ibrahim grew up, in war-ravaged Afghanistan.
