A MAN found dead on a dirt road north of Ouyen on Saturday was from Nangiloc, police have revealed.

They say the 60-year-old's death is not being treated as suspicious, but investigations are continuing.

The man's body was found on Wood Road, about 16km north of Ouyen.

Police were called to the scene, not far from the Calder Highway and the adjacent rail line, about 3pm.
