THE Mildura 100 will proceed despite concerns following the death of skier Luke Wentworth at the Southern 80 event in Echuca.

Mr Wentworth who competed for the Gassa Ski Race Team, was fatally injured while competing, the seventh death since the event’s inception.

Ski Club president Brandon McGlynn said the tragedy would not affect the Easter race.
