A MOTORCYCLIST was expected to be flown to hospital in Melbourne after a collision with a car on Walnut Avenue.

Police and paramedics attended the scene near the intersection of Walnut and Sandpiper Drive about 10.15am on Thursday.

Police said the male rider had suffered serious leg injuries and was likely to be flown to Melbourne.
