THE Christie Centre has been selected as a finalist for this year's Learn Local Awards.

This week, the Victorian Government announced the 25 finalists of the eight awards categories.

The awards aim to celebrate students, teachers and Learn Local providers for their "inspirational efforts" in the adult and community education sector.
