SUNRAYSIA’S early burst of summer weather is about to come to an end, but not before the mercury climbs into the mid-30s on Monday.

Mildura recorded its highest September temperature on Sunday at 4.20pm, when the maximum reached 33.3 degrees.

This topped Thursday’s high of 29.5 degrees, which was previously the highest temperature this spring.
