UNITED Australia Party senator Ralph Babet and Victorian One Nation MP Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell have kicked off a fact-finding Murray River tour in Mildura.

Senator Babet and the state MLC met local council representatives, fisheries experts and the Mallee Catchment Authority on Monday, as they began a journey that will take in Robinvale, Swan Hill and Echuca before ending at Dartmouth Dam on Friday.
