AS Albury photographer, author and father of two Peter Charlesworth paddles the length of the Murray River, it is hard to believe that less than three years ago he was near death in a Melbourne hospital.

Mr Charlesworth was flown from Albury to Melbourne in 2020 for emergency surgery brought on by an undiagnosed coronary heart disease.
