A NEW client portal is cutting red tape for Christies Centre participants and carers by consolidating paperwork in one location.
The Christie Centre last month introduced FlowPoint, a portal which allows participants and carers to easily access their timetables, photos, announcements and newsletters as well as viewing and signing NDIS Service Agreements.
The centre said the next logicial step in the organisation's digital transformation was to introduce the technology, after it implemented a cloud-based Client Management System called FlowLogic five years ago.
Art used for FlowPoint was selected from four artists who attended its ArtRageUs creative arts studio that supports participants to express themselves creatively and develop pathways to exhibiting and selling their work.
One participant, Michael, was overcome with joy when he was told that his work was selected for the portal.
Michael has attended the Christie Centre since 1995 and has been part of the Art group for over 10 years.
He also began supported employment at Aroundagain in December 2019 and works two days per week doing tasks such as peg painting and sorting donations.
"It was important to me to use our client portal to display the talents of our lesser known artists," FlowPoint captain and team leader at Christie Centre Ali Goullet said.
"Michael’s art was chosen to be the backdrop to our new client portal because of its colour combination and vibrancy."
