THE Victorian government has confirmed that V/Line services to and from Mildura will be included in a statewide fare cap, meaning local people will be able to travel to Melbourne for less than the price of a cup of coffee.

Although the government had previously promised that all regional passengers would pay the same fares as metropolitan travellers, the fact that the myki electronic ticketing system is not used in
