VICTORIA'S Coalition says if elected Mildura roads would be safer for all motorists, with a pledge to spend $10 billion over 10 years to fix the state's crumbling road system.

The funding increase would be delivered through the annual road asset management budget, lifting spending from about $600 million to $1 billion annually.
