CONTESTANTS dusted off the piano at the weekend in the first live Mildura Eisteddfod in two years.

Fifth grade pianoforte soloists, Chloe Sheahan, Lucas Tresize and Laila Zappia competed on Sunday afternoon for the adjudicator, Kevin Cameron.

Chloe came first, Lucas came second and Laila was given an honourable mention.
