THE rising role of independents is changing Australian politics, according to Mallee federal election candidate Sophie Baldwin.

Ms Baldwin will be joined by former independent member for Indi Cathy McGowan and 2022 independent Senate candidate Susan Benadyka on a live Q and A panel at The Setts in Mildura on Thursday night.
