LOCALS and visitors alike welcomed the return of large music events to Mildura over the weekend, descending on Nowingi Place for the SummerSalt Festival.

A SummerSalt spokesperson said about 4000 people made their way to the riverfront on Saturday to be entertained by the Birds of Tokyo, Xavier Rudd, John Butler, Tulliah, The Waifs and The Teskey Brothers.
