POPULAR Australian rockers Birds of Tokyo are set to perform in Mildura next March and bassist Ian Berney says he is "looking forward to tasting the oranges in Mildura".

After reaching major success in Australia with hit songs such as Plans and Lanterns, Birds of Tokyo have recently performed regional gigs as part of the SummerSalt tour.
