MILDURA'S Wallis Cinema is set for a financial boost to help it recover from prolonged closures and capacity restrictions.

Following two years of disrupted operating, the Federal Government is offering assistance to cinemas that have been effected by the pandemic.

As a part of the government's $20 million SCREEN fund, the Mildura cinema will receive $60,000.
