AUSTRALIAN champion shooter Nathan Argiro says Mildura deserves a shot at hosting shooting competition if Victoria hosts the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Argiro, who won the Australian men's trap title in January, said shooting facilities at Mildura Clay Target Club were in the top three in Victoria and said the venue was the most spectator-friendly candidate of the three.
