A MILDURA court has heard a "terrifying" fight between two groups of armed offenders outside a Mildura home.

Kaylen Pappin was on parole for similar offending when he pulled a large machete on two people in Eighth Street and was involved in a fight while armed with an 80cm samurai sword.
