WATER users are questioning a decision by WaterNSW to cancel an increase in water releases from Menindee Lakes, a decision they say will "jeopardise" the health of grazing properties and floodplains in the lower Darling River.

South West Water Users Association chairperson Howard Jones said Menindee SES had got it "totally wrong" in advising WaterNSW to cancel an increase to water releases.
