A DOCTOR has been convicted of stealing a prescription pad and forging scripts that had been dispensed at a number of Mildura pharmacies.

On Monday, Mildura Magistrates' Court heard that Peter William Whyte, a registered medical practitioner, had been working at Western Australia's St John of God Hospital.

In June 2020, the 54-year-old stole a prescription pad from a doctor he had worked with.
