A PROJECT to restore and enhance Aboriginal grave sites in Robinvale has begun.

Volunteer crews got to work pouring cement and adding headstones to the first 11 graves last week.

It was hoped the project could ultimately transform about 80 graves.

Murray Valley Aboriginal Co-operative drug and alcohol support worker Daryl Singh said it was an idea that had been talked about for some time.
