A RED Cliffs boy had a chop for a cause at the weekend, donating his hair to be made into wigs.

Dylan Leersen, 12, grew out his hair for more than a year after some bad news prompted him to find a way to help cancer patients.

"At the start of last year, Mum got diagnosed with cancer," he said.
