Bird’s-eye view could be weary

NEXT time an irate magpie tries to swoop you, keep in mind that it might be just as sleep-deprived as you are.

A study by La Trobe and Melbourne universities, published on Friday, found that light pollution in cities and towns was keeping magpies and pigeons up at night, with researchers calling on city-dwellers to turn off their outside lights at night.
