A YOUNG Mildura man will face court after allegedly being found in possession of cannabis and a controlled weapon.

About 4am Saturday, police pulled the 22-year-old over and during a search, found an amount of cannabis.

He was arrested in relation to possessing a drug of dependence and a large fishing knife, without reason.
